Nina & Mike
Nina & Mike were formed in Germany in 1966 as a pop duo. The group consists of
Michaela "Nina" Hennemann, born on June 19, 1945 in Halle (Saale), and Lothar
"Mike" Schähfer, born on January 14, 1944 in Mannheim. The two meet in 1963.
Mike plays guitar in a band. Nina joins as a singer. Shortly afterwards, they
marry and start a family. From 1966, they initially perform under the name Joe &
Jenny. Releases as Michaela & Lothar followed in 1969. In 1970, the first single
"Lola" was released under the name Nina & Mike. The duo moved into the pop
