Neşe Karaböcek
Neşecan Göktürk, known professionally as Neşe Karaböcek, and born on April 1,
1947, in Istanbul, Turkey, is a singer, actress, and painter. She is recognized
as one of the leading interpreters of Turkish Arabesque, a fusion of traditional
folk music and international western sounds. She began her career as a singer at
the age of four when she joined the children's choir of Radio Ankara and later
