Italian rock band formed in Arezzo (Tuscany) in 1991, Negrita takes its name
from the Rolling Stones song "Hey Negrita", on the 1976 album Black and Blues.
Initially made up of Paolo Bruni (vocals, guitar, harmonica), Enrico Salvi and
Cesare Petricith (guitars), Franco Li Causi (bass) and Roberto Zamagni (drums),
the quintet recorded several demos before finding a record company, in this case
the Mercury-affiliated Black Out label (Universal), to record a first homonymous
