Born in Venezuela to Dominican parents and raised in New York, Napoles—formerly
known as DJ Nápoles—has built a dynamic career as a producer, singer, and
songwriter, working with some of Latin music’s biggest names. His early break
came in 2009 when he co-produced and performed on DLG’s Renacer, earning a
Grammy nomination for Best Tropical Latin Album. He gained further recognition
in 2010 for his work on Prince Royce’s self-titled debut, which landed a Latin
