Singer, songwriter, producer, and talent agent Jerrold Samuels – born on May 3, 1938, in Manhattan, New York – was best-known by his hit novelty single “They’re Coming to Take Me Away, Ha-Haaa!” recorded under the stage name of Napoleon XIV.
