Mr. Len
Mr. Len, born Leonard Smythe in the Bronx, New York, is an American hip-hop DJ
and producer. After relocating to Hillside, New Jersey at twelve years of age,
he emerged in the underground scene as a member of the hip-hop trio Company Flow
alongside Bigg Jus and El-P, releasing the EP Funcrusher (1995) and the album
Funcrusher Plus (1997) on Rawkus Records. Following the group's dissolution, he
released the debut solo album Pity the Fool: Experiments in Therapy Behind the
Mask of Music While Handing Out Dummy Smacks (2001) on Matador Records, which
