Mountain Man is an American singing trio from Bennington, Vermont, formed in
2009. The group consists of Molly Erin Sarle, Alexandra Sauser-Monnig, and
Amelia Randall Meath, who met as students at Bennington College in Vermont. They
began singing together seriously that year, influenced by Bulgarian women's
choir music and artists such as Celine Dion. Their self-released recordings
gained attention from influential blogs like Pitchfork in late 2009, which led
