Danish singer Karen Marie Aagaard Ørsted Andersen, born August 13, 1988 in
Odense, shortens her name to MØ to launch herself on the music scene. Her first
song, "Maiden", released in 2012, corresponds to the meaning of her pseudonym in
Old Scandinavian. In the wake of this essay, published in Denmark, followed a
string of singles spread out over 2013: "Glass" in January, "Pilgrim" in March
and, finally, " Maiden" in October. Pilgrim " in March, which, supported by
Danish radio station DR P3, reached No. 11, followed by "Waste of Time" in June.
