Milan Lasica, born on February 3, 1940, in Zvolen, was a Slovak writer,
lyricist, and singer. He spent his youth in Pliešovce and studied dramaturgy at
the Academy of Performing Arts in Bratislava, where he collaborated with Július
Satinský. Lasica's music career included notable albums such as My (Do Tanca A
Na Počúvanie) (1988), Sťahovaví Vtáci (1990), and Ja Som Optimista (2001). He
