Mike Walker
Mike Walker, born on 12 July 1962 in England, is a British jazz guitarist whose
early exposure to his father's piano, mother’s singing, and brother’s guitar
shaped his musical foundation. He joined the jazz‑fusion group River People and
later performed with vibraphonist Alan Butler’s quartet in the 1980s, working
with Michael Gibbs and Kenny Wheeler. Walker released his debut album, Madhouse
and the Whole Thing There, in 2008 and followed with Beholden in 2014 and Ropes
