Micheille Soifer (born Micheille Solangie Soifer Cárdenas on November 2, 1989,
in Callao, Peru) first gained attention in 2008 performing pop songs in local
venues. After joining the girl groups Las Hijas de su Madre (2009) and then
cumbia outfit Alma Bella (2010), she became widely known for her rendition of
“Bombón Asesino,” which earned her the nickname “the bombón” in Lima’s music
scene. Going solo in 2013 with the ballad “Hoy Quiero” (featuring Idéntico), she
then expanded into urban pop and urbano-infused tracks like “La Nena” (2021),
