Marco “MC Magic” Cardenas, born on June 29, 1977, in Heroica Nogales, Sonora,
Mexico, began his music career in 1990 when he founded Nastyboy Records and
formed the bilingual hip-hop group Nastyboy Klick. The group released The First
Chapter in 1997 and Tha Second Coming in 1998, establishing a unique mix of
English and Spanish lyrics with romantic themes. After evolving into NB Ridaz,
the group released Invasion in 2001 and NB Ridaz.com in 2004, gaining attention
with tracks like “Pretty Girl” and “So Fly.” While still active with the group,
