Kevin de Oliveira Zanoni, popularly known as MC Kevin O Chris, is a
singer-songwriter and rapper from Rio de Janeiro. Born on December 5, 1996, in
Duque de Caxias, Rio de Janeiro, he is one of the most recognizable exponents of
the Brazilian funk carioca genre, particularly as a pivotal figure of the 150
BPM style—a faster-paced iteration of the traditional funk rhythm. His career
began in earnest in 2014 when he performed as a DJ at local parties under the
