MC Jacaré, the stage name of Pedro Henrique Mendes Mesquita, is a Brazilian funk
artist, producer and arranger from Goiânia, born in 2003. Raised in the Urias
Magalhães neighborhood, he became interested in music as a child, learning
guitar and later making beats on an old computer. He began posting songs online
as a teenager and drew attention in 2019 with “Pra Melhorar Meu Dia” and
“Implorou pra Sentar,” tracks that mixed funk with humor and references from
outside the Rio-São Paulo axis. In 2020, he broke nationally with “Comprei um
Lança,” inspired by Rita Lee’s “Lança Perfum...
