Max Cooper
Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on 19 May 1980, electro/techno/ambient
producer and DJ Max Cooper is best known for his remixes of artists like Au
Revoir Simone and Michael Nyman & David McAlmont as well as his own releases.
When he was younger, he was inspired to become a geneticist after reading
science books including titles written by Stephen Hawking. He earned a doctorate
in computational biology from Nottingham University. Working as a geneticist, he
also dabbled in music on the side, using scientific ideas to create a unique
