Jamie Quinn, known professionally as Matrix, is a British DJ and drum and bass producer. He began his career as one half of the drum‑and‑bass duo Turbosound, signed to F Project Records, an imprint of Formation Records. Matrix released his solo single, "The Message" / "Seabreeze", in 1996, followed by 1997 releases such as "Double Vision"/"Sedation" and "Fluid Motion"/"Junk". In 2000, he issued his debut album, Sleepwalk, on Virus Recordings, produced by his brother Optical.
