Matraca Berg is an American country music singer and songwriter born on February
3, 1964, in Nashville, Tennessee. She achieved her first major success in 1983
with the collaboration “Faking Love”, which reached Number 1 on the Billboard
country chart. Berg signed with RCA Records in 1990 and released her debut
album, Lying to the Moon. The project included the singles “Baby, Walk On” and
“The Things You Left Undone”, both of which reached number 36 on the country
