Martin Owen
Martin Owen, born on September 22, 1973, is a British classical horn player. He
studied at the Royal Academy of Music and became principal horn of the Royal
Philharmonic Orchestra from 1998 to 2008, after which he was appointed principal
horn of the BBC Symphony Orchestra. Owen regularly guested as principal horn
with major London orchestras and performed with the Berlin Philharmonic
Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe, while building a solo career that
