Maricarmen Marín Salinas, known professionally as Maricarmen Marín, was born on
September 28, 1982, in Lima, Peru. She began her career at age 16 as a dancer
and later became one of the lead vocalists for the cumbia group Agua Bella. In
2005, she formed her own band, Los Diablos de la Cumbia, releasing their debut
album Me Enamoré de Ti y Qué. Maricarmen's career expanded beyond music into
acting, with notable roles in television series such as Las Vírgenes de la
Cumbia and films like the romantic comedy trilogy La Peor de Mis Bodas. She
