Major RD, born Rodrigo Freitas Fernandes Morais on December 15, 1996, in Rio de
Janeiro, emerged from the battle rap scene in Campo Grande, where he honed his
skills while working as a butcher’s assistant. Encouraged by his friend and
fellow rapper Xamã, he left his job to pursue music full-time, becoming a
founding member of the collective Brutang44. In 2021, he co-founded the label
Rock Danger alongside Ycaro Torres and DJ Natan, through which he released his
