Magos Herrera, born October 24, 1970 in Mexico City, is a Mexican jazz singer,
composer, and producer. She graduated from the Musicians Institute in Los
Angeles in 1992 and later studied contemporary improvisation in Boston. While in
Mexico City, Herrera released several albums including País Maravilla (2004) and
Todo Puede Inspirar (2005). She moved to New York in 2008 and performed at the
New York Winter Jazz Festival. Herrera's album Distancia (2009) charted Number 1
