Magnus was a Belgian electronic and dance music project formed in Antwerp by
dEUS frontman Tom Barman and techno producer CJ Bolland. The duo debuted in 2004
with the album The Body Gave You Everything, which featured the singles
“Summer's Here”, “Jumpneedle”, and “French Movies”. Several tracks, including
“Rhythm Is Defied”, were used in the soundtrack for the 2003 film Any Way the
Wind Blows, directed by Barman. After a ten-year hiatus, the ensemble returned
