Macha Gharibian
Born in Enghien-les-Bains (Oise) in 1980, jazz pianist and singer Macha
Gharibian infuses her music with the Armenian roots of her origins. Of Armenian
descent through her grandparents, Macha Gharibian is the daughter of guitarist
and founder of the traditional music group Bratsch, Dan Gharibian. Introduced to
music at an early age by her father and taken to concerts, the young girl
received classical piano training. Building on this foundation, she toured with
Bratsch and the collective project Papiers d'Arménie throughout Europe, as far
