Luxuria
Luxuria was a British duo formed in 1987 by vocalist Howard Devoto, former
member of Buzzcocks and Magazine, and instrumentalist Norman Fisher‑Jones. The
partnership originated after Howard Devoto and Norman Fisher‑Jones met through
Pete Shelley, and they quickly secured a contract with Beggars Banquet. Their
debut single, "Redneck", was released on 23 November 1987, followed by "Public
Highway" in May 1988. In 1988 the group issued their first album, Unanswerable
