composer, and conductor. He formed his first ensemble in 1928 and performed at
the Palma Theater in Tampico, which led to radio contracts and collaborations
with artists like Agustín Lara and Gonzalo Curiel. In 1938, he established his
dance and jazz orchestra, known for hits such as "Quinto patio" (composed with
