Los Golden Boys, a Colombian tropical music orchestra, was founded in 1961 in
Medellín. The group was established by brothers Guillermo and Pedro Jairo
Garcés, who were instrumental in shaping its early sound. The band gained
recognition in Venezuela during the 1960s, performing alongside notable acts
like Los Melódicos and La Billo’s Caracas. In 1972, following Pedro Jairo
Garcés' tragic death, the group relocated to Bogotá. After a hiatus, they
