Lisa Shaw
Lisa Shaw was born in 1969 in Toronto, Ontario. She is a Canadian singer
specializing in contemporary R&B and soul music. In 1993, while vacationing in
New York, Shaw became captivated by the local club scene and decided to stay,
leading to collaborations with prominent house producers starting in 1995. Her
breakthrough came with the 2000 single "Always", which received praise from
Madonna in Rolling Stone. Shaw's debut solo album, Cherry, was released in 2005,
