Linda Hargrove
Linda Hargrove was an American country music singer and songwriter born in 1949
in Tallahassee, Florida. She had her first songwriting success at age 17 when
the band The Other Side recorded two of her compositions. Hargrove released her
debut studio album, Music Is Your Mistress, in 1973. Her solo recording history
included the singles “I've Never Loved Anyone More” (1974) and “20/20 Hindsight”
(1976). During the 1980s, she issued two gospel albums following a religious
conversion. Hargrove also wrote several hits for other artists, including the
