Leony
Leony (born June 25, 1997 in Chammünster) is a pop singer and songwriter from
Germany. The artist became better known in German-speaking countries in 2014
through the TV show Rising Star as part of the band Unknown Passenger. After the
band broke up, the singer, born Leonie Burger, began her solo career. As a
child, she learns piano and guitar. In 2016, Leony signed a record deal with
Sony Music in Australia. The singer's debut single "Surrender" was released the
