Lenny Kuhr, born Helena Hubertina Johanna Kuhr on February 22, 1950, in
Eindhoven, Netherlands, is a singer-songwriter. Kuhr started a career in 1967,
performing songs in the French chanson tradition. In 1969, Kuhr represented the
Netherlands in the Eurovision Song Contest with the self-composed song "De
troubadour" (1969), featuring lyrics by David Hartsema and an orchestra
conducted by Franz de Kok. The singer tied as one of the four winners that year.
