Leinemann, a German band from Hamburg, was formed in 1969 by Gottfried Böttger,
Jürgen “Jerry” Bahrs, Uli Salm, Jörn-Christoph “Django” Seelenmeyer, and Ulf
Krüger. Initially a jazz and skiffle group, Leinemann evolved into a rock and
ragtime band before transitioning to schlager music. Their debut album,
Leinemann's Honky-Tonky-Skiffle-Rock, was released in 1971 featuring exclusively
English-language tracks. The band's lineup changed over the years, with Böttger
