Leandro & Leonardo, born Luís José Costa and Emival Eterno Costa respectively,
were a Brazilian sertanejo duo from Goianápolis. Leandro was born on August 15,
1961, while Leonardo was born on July 25, 1963. The brothers began their musical
journey in the early 1980s and formed their duo in 1983, releasing their
self-titled debut album that same year. Their breakthrough came in 1989 with
