Layla Kaylif
Layla Kaylif, born 2 September 1971 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, is a
British‑Emirati singer who began her artistic journey as a student at the
American Academy of Dramatic Arts and later pursued Arabic studies at the
University of Oxford. Her musical breakthrough arrived in 1999 when she signed
with Edel Records in the United Kingdom, Avex Trax in Southeast Asia, and Jive
in Benelux, releasing the single "Shakespeare in Love" and the album Enough
