Lauriana Mae is an American pop, soul, and R&B singer-songwriter born on January
18, 1983, in Red Bank, New Jersey. Influenced by legends such as Etta James and
Billie Holiday, she began singing in a church choir before attending a
performing arts high school. Early in her career, she was a member of the group
Scene 23 on the television program Popstars. Mae signed with Atlantic Records in
