Laura Turner, born in Houston, Texas, is an American singer. She trained as an
opera singer and possesses a soprano vocal range. Turner gained public attention
with the release of her album Soul Deep on Curb Records in June 2003. The album
reached number 4 on the Upfront Club Top 40 chart in 2003. In 2010, Laura
released two Christmas songs, "Mary, Sweet Mary" and "Come As You Are", produced
by Keith Thomas. Turner's musical style blends classical and pop elements, often
compared to that of Sarah Brightman.
