Larry Groce, born on April 22, 1948, in Dallas, Texas, is an American
singer-songwriter and radio host. He recorded his first album, Peace And Joy And
Power, while a college student at Principia College in Elsah, Illinois. In 1970,
Groce moved to New York City and signed with Daybreak Records, releasing his
debut album of original songs, The Wheat Lies Low. His breakthrough came in 1976
