Laney Jones
Laney Christine Jones, born October 14 1991 in Stevensville, Maryland, is an
American musician and songwriter who began performing in musical theater before
moving to Florida at age six. She studied songwriting at Berklee College of
Music, where instructor Kara DioGuardi influenced her development, and released
her album Golden Road in 2013. Jones’s breakthrough came with the 2016 album
Laney Jones, produced by David Plakon, which received critical acclaim and
