Leopoldo Fiorini, known professionally as Lando Fiorini, was born on January 27,
1938, in Rome, Italy. He began his career in the early 1960s and gained
significant recognition through his participation in the Cantagiro festival in
1962. His first notable single was "Rugantino" (1963). Fiorini released numerous
albums, including Roma Mia (1964) and Bella Quanno Te Fece Mamma Tua (1971), and
starred in the musical comedy Rugantino. He also wrote "Forza Roma", an anthem
for the football team AS Roma. Fiorini passed away on December 9, 2017, in Rome.
