La Borrachita
La Borrachita is an Argentine cumbia act that emerged in the 2012 as a Santa
Fe–linked, dancefloor-oriented project fronted by singer Juan José Piedrabuena
(Juanjo), who had previously spent several years as the voice of Grupo Alegría
before launching this new band identity for the tropical circuit. The group’s
first major statement arrived with the album Te Quiero Borrachita (2012),
released through the Colo Music orbit and promoted with high-rotation cuts like
“Te Quiero Borrachita” and “Carla,” with “Carla” becoming the signature track
