Kroke, a Polish world music band from Cracovie, was formed in 1992 by graduates
of the Academy of Music. Initially influenced by klezmer and Balkan music, their
sound evolved to include ethnic influences from the Orient and jazz elements.
Their debut production, Klezmer Accoustic Music, was released in 1993. Kroke
gained early recognition performing at events like the Survivors Reunion in
