American country singer Kip Christian Moore, or simply Kip Moore, was born on
April 1, 1980, in Tifton, Georgia. He was already well into his teens when he
began learning to play the guitar at age 17, but it was songwriting, above all,
that truly captivated him. After graduating from Wallace Community College in
Hanceville, Alabama, he moved to Hawaii before returning to settle in Nashville,
