We Are King, also known as King, an American R&B duo from Minneapolis,
Minnesota, was formed in 2011 by twin sisters Amber and Paris Strother. The
group initially included their close friend Anita Bias and released their first
EP, The Story, independently in 2011. This release garnered attention from
notable artists such as Phonte of The Foreign Exchange, Questlove, Erykah Badu,
