Kenny Price

James Kenneth Price, born May 27, 1931 in Florence, Kentucky, was an American country music singer, songwriter, and actor. He grew up on a farm in Boone County, Kentucky, where he learned to play guitar at five years old. From 1952 until 1954, he served as a corporal in the United States Army during the Korean War. Price began his professional career after auditioning for a USO show, eventually hosting the television show Midwestern Hayride until 1972.
