Kasta, a Russian rap group from Rostov-on-Don, was formed in November 1999 by
Vladislav Leshkevich (Vlady), Mikhail Epifanov (Shym), and Andrey Pacechny
(Hamil). Initially part of Psycholyric, they renamed to Kasta after a suggestion
by rapper Basta. Their early work was influenced by Wu-Tang Clan, but they
developed a unique southern style of Russian hip-hop. In 2001, they released
