(Kaori Kouzai)
Kaori Kôzai is a Japanese vocalist who sings in the traditional enka style. Enka
singers enjoy enormous popularity in Japan and regularly play to significant
numbers of fans during their live performances. Kôzai was born in Osaka in 1963
and her contribution to enka music was rewarded when she won 'Best Vocalist' at
the 42nd Japan Record Awards.
