Step by step is the motto of Kamelancien, a rapper born Kamel Houari Jdayni in
Kremlin-Bicêtre in 1980 and originally from Oujda, Morocco. Kamelancien has
built up his musical career smoothly, without scandals or provocations, but with
a solid progression: while his debut album Ghettographie stayed in the
best-seller chart for just one week at number 149, his follow-up, Le Charme en
