Junpei Shiina, born 6 August 1974 in Urawa, Saitama, Japan, is a Japanese soul and rhythm‑and‑blues singer‑songwriter who began piano lessons at five and joined his high‑school brass band, learning drums before turning to songwriting in 1998. He won the Sony Music SDN “The Another Goal ’99” audition and released his debut single "Sekai" in 2000, followed by the single "Mujō" used in the drama Nisenichi‑nen no Otoko Un.
