Józef Franciszek Skrzek, born on July 2, 1948, in Michałkowice, Poland, is a
Polish multi-instrumentalist, singer, and composer. In the early stages of his
career, Skrzek was associated with groups such as Ślężanie, Ametysty, and
Breakout. He created the progressive-rock group Silesian Blues Band in 1971 with
Jerzy Piotrowski and Apostolis Anthimos. Skrzek's discography included notable
