Josipa Lisac is a Croatian singer and actress born on February 14, 1950, in
Zagreb. She began her career in 1961 in a children's choir and later fronted the
rock bands O'Hara and Zlatni Akordi. In 1971, Lisac began a lifelong
professional and personal partnership with musician Karlo Metikoš. She released
her landmark debut album, Dnevnik jedne ljubavi, in 1973. Two years later, she
starred as Jana in the rock opera Gubec-beg, which featured the aria “Ave
