Josiah "Cie" Frazier, born on February 23, 1904, was an American jazz drummer.
He began his musical journey with lessons from Louis Cottrell Sr. and made his
recording debut in 1927 with Papa Celestin's Tixedo Brass Band. Frazier
performed with various notable bands including Armand J. Piron's orchestra, the
Sunny South Band, and Sidney Desvigne Orchestra. During World War II, he served
in the U.S. Marine Corps from 1942 to 1945. Post-war, Frazier collaborated with
Wooden Joe Nicholas and continued working with Celestin and Percy Humphrey
